Both are free trials, and it turns out the web browser costs $30 and the IM program $50. Which is mildly insane, in my humble opinion. And the IM price is a “subscription” per year. Huh? You’ve got to be joking. The web browser is useful and I could see potentially buying it, but I just can’t see myself buying the IM client at that price point. After all, both pieces of software are available free on my computer…if only there was some way to use the BlackBerry as a modem.
