Blogs are making reporting more open and transparent

Blogs and the internet in general are making reporting a more open and transparent process — sometimes in constructive ways, sometimes in a blatantly partisan ways — but, as we apparently have to reiterate every time one of these stories appears, this doesn’t mean traditional journalism is dying or becoming irrelevent, its just becoming better.
