Under Construction Boogle undergoes upgrades from its 1.0 roots as a Kazaa scanner to a full-featured SMB file search tool. 
Like A Good Neighbor, Boogle Is There Boogle 2.5 is launched with new search functions. 
Boogle: Almost As Popular Than Jonathan North Washington Boogle surpasses 1,000 GB of files catalogued, the sport of BoogleWhacking (inflating the "popular search terms" tally by repeatedly searching for some bogus term) is born with Jonathan North Washington receiving (err...giving himself) hundreds of searches. 
Boogle: The New Big Bad As the end of the school year (and the 6th season of Buffy: The Vampire Slayer) approached, Boogle was streamlined with popularity rankings for faster file finding and last minute downloading. 
Oh Boogle, We Hardly Knew Thee! End of the 2001-2002 school year. 
Boogle XP At the opening of the 2002-2003 school year, Boogle celebrates Windows XP Home and the new Microsoft "feature" that makes password-protecting files and folders impossible. Bad for users, good for Boogle! 
Boogle X Jaguar Apple Computer introduces Mac OS X 10.2, finally adding the ability to (somewhat) view CIFS shares using some built-in Samba tools. Hooray for the ability of Mac users to download from Boogle, even if it is slightly complicated. 
Uniboogle - Fantastico! I just figured all the previous logos have been parodies of US brands and corporations and such...time for something south of the border. (It is a play on Univision, a Mexican broadcaster.) 
BooHoo! - Now Ten Times Faster! The code is updated and the scanning works better, but we still don't know why there is a huge delay thanks to the new uptime table. Then, twenty minutes after we launch this "sad" logo, we find the answer, and we're back at full speed! So this logo was short-lived... Note: The "control" message is a play on the Trisk slogan used during Coming Out Week for the CONTROL Dance to help fight AIDS. A sickness that is, of course, not at all funny. 
BoogleScape - More Accurate Then the Indi! Farscape has been cancelled! Farscape! Cancelled! Well, frell that, here is my tribute. The slogan refers to the new campus newspaper, The Indi, which is hopelessly factually inaccurate to the point of being libelous. 
The Carl and Ruth Shapiro Boogle Our new campus center. It's so...um...GREEN! 
BOOGLEMARK Corporation The dining services contractor we all love to hate, Aramark, gets their turn on Boogle. 
Boogle - Me Want FILES!!! No reasoning behing this one, it just seemed fun, and, in terms of email feedback, its our most popular logo yet! 
The myBoogle Community System We like the myBrandeis community, and we wish more people would use it.

Boogle - Good Grief! This one is pretty self-explanatory. Charlie Brown was being performed in the 
BoogleCentral An easy step from the (incomprehensible) Comedy Central marketing slogan, "You like it. It likes you." I like what? What likes me? Is something stalking me? Yeah, I don't get it, but it works fine for Boogle. 
MSN Boogle MSN was being really obnoxious with the whole butterfly thing, so I figured I might as well help reinforce their marketing. 
Boogle - Noodly Goodness No folks, this is not a Rice Krispie Treat (tm), its kugel. Sheesh! 
The Boogles Yeah, I don't really know why I did this one either. 
Boogazon.com - Earth's Biggest Selection Amazon.com is my favorite online commerce site ever, its only natural that I finally give them a plug. Even if they have that stupid one-click ordering patent. 
Boogle - Live By It So we had a lot of snow. Tons of snow and cold weather and wind and ickiness. And then we had sun! Oh, glorious sun! So in celebration, I put up a picture you'll never see on the weather.com site -- the castle with the Weather Channel logo. 
Unnatural Boogle Quinn Fleming's sometimes-hilarious weekly comic is a great addition to the Justice. We decided to give it its few days of fame on Boogle.. 
Boogle-Cola This one should be clear. Nothing to see here, move along.... 
Boogle Star Runner This site, Home Star Runner, is the current internet hit-of-the-moment. We all love the antics of Strong Bad, Home Star, and the rest of the folks, and we welcome them to Boogle.. 
Free Tibet Nothing special about this one. I guess there were some Free Tibet posters around campus or something. 
Boogle Summer Boogle kept running over the summer of 2003, with much fewer files, of course. 
Les Booglerables Miss Saigon was in town, so instead of doing a logo about that, we celebrated the most famous of Boubil and Schonberg's works instead. |
