Well, this might explain those:

The solution is simple. Kill the ~22% overlap!
Devil’s advocate sez: The overlap doesn’t have to be the whole 22%. In fact, we have no idea what the overlap is unless the survey notes it.
Where do you get these stats? And does this mean that in fact it’s the aliens who are controlling what the news media is reporting?
Yes, that’s it! It’s the aliens! Of course surveys mean nothing without a good understanding of poling methodology and sample size, and other pertinent info, which is why it’s fun to quote them. 🙂 All of these are from PollingReport.com
