1. Follow-up: Nope, not the stand for me. Does not work with any sort of iPad case, not even the ultra-thin “Feather” case I use, is not stable when you want the iPad to be relatively upright, and can be hard to get the two pieces precisely lined up. I next found the Compass Mobile Stand. It is a bit heavier than I’d like, but otherwise pretty much perfect.
